We couldn't have asked for a better weather on our last Spring meet on June 30, highs in the upper 70s and dry. The Kinns Road Park in Clifton Park is a nice little area with runnable woods and an extensive trail network. The originally small park lost many acres in recent years to residental development, therefore setting a longer course is always a challenge here.

The meet offered Yellow, Orange and Green courses to participants. Green runners used the clubs new SI equipment for punching, and due to the relatively small map the 5km long course was printed on two maps (had to flip the map at control 13, and the 2nd map showed a new start where #13 was on the first side). Some of the controls of the green course had to be found twice, but coming from a different direction to keep it challenging for the second time. As we are a little short on SI control stations, some of the 23 green controls had regular punches, so the results don't have all the 25 splits. When setting the green course I made a mistake, that many runners noticed and I apologize for all the inconvenience. Accidentally control #13 of the green course was put in the wrong reentrant, NE from the one circled. Luckily, as it seems from the splits, most runners were able to find the misplaced control without wasting too much time.
