Child Care

SUNDAY ONLY: Child care will be available for a fee during competition only; $10 deposit/day required to reserve (additional fees will be charged on site as necessary). Separate men's and women's bathrooms with showers will be designated. NOTE: All arrangements with Camp Pinnacle must be booked through the registrar. Space may be limited, so make arrangements early. See Accommodations form for details and to register.

Camp Pinnacle is an alcohol-free facility. Please do not use alcoholic beverages on the property or you may be asked to leave. Smoking is not permitted in any Camp buildings, and is discouraged on the campus.

HOTELS/MOTELS abound in the Albany/Schenectady areas. Motels on Washington Avenue (near SUNY-Albany) and Wolf Road are convenient to the major highways. The SUNY web page lists accommodations which are very close to the I-90 & NY 85 intersection. For more suggestions, contact Sue Hawkes-Teeter, ( sueht AT nycap . rr . com ), (518) 872-1993 before 9 pm.

OTHER: Voorheesville has a great restaurant with delicious pizza called Smith's Tavern (Smitty's) on NY 85A (see area map). Major chain restaurants are located on Wolf Road (between exits 2 and 4 of the Northway/I-87). Crossgates Mall (on US 20 just W of I-87) and Colonie Center (intersection of NY 5 and Wolf Road) also have multiple dining opportunities.

Albany.com, in addition to accommodations, lists things to see and do in the Albany area.
